I want to be a kid again | Sunday Scripture

I want to be a kid again.  It's not because I don't want my current responsibilities.  Although that would be nice for a short time.  A little vacation from reality.  And there are lots of reasons I'd like to be a kid again. But today, I want to be a kid because kids are so close to their emotions.  When they're happy they let you know!  They can't hide it!  When they see something they like, they shriek with joy!  They giggle.  They throw their arms around you.  They do a little dance.  They don't care who sees them do any of this either.  They just express their joy.  Freely.  Without hesitation. I want to feel that kind of joy again.  And I want to be able to express it the way they do.

My daughter's latest thing is yelling "Yippee Ki-Yay!"  *smile*  I'm not even sure where she got it from.  But, it's the cutest darn thing.  You KNOW when she's happy!  Tomorrow, I'm going to start yelling "Yippee Ki-Yay!"

Here's a Bible Verse about laughter and joy:

"Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy."
Psalm 126:2-3 NIV

Everyone have a happy, laughter filled day.  And may you be able to show your happiness and joy today!
