Weekend Wrap-up | The Builder's new Loft

This weekend, I wanted to be able to spend a little time by myself to finish up some cleaning so that I could start fresh with my new binder today.  But, I just couldn't seem to find my motivation on Saturday!  But, I did get a couple hours alone to myself.  So, that was nice.

My husband and my kids went ice-skating.  My son will be starting official ice-skating lessons tonight.  He had been doing Karate, but the teacher yelled a lot and scared him.  So, when his semester was up, we let him quit.  It was a tough, tough decision for my husband and me.  But, in the end we decided that it just wasn't right for a teacher to yell so much and scare the heck out of a 6 year old.  Which is funny, because we left the last Karate place because the teacher didn't pay enough attention to him.

My husband had been planning on making a Loft in my son's room for a while now.  He was supposed to do it for his last birthday, which was April.  He finally did it yesterday!  I know my son is excited!  Here it is!!!  Please ignore the rest of the mess.  : )

I have taken on another challenge!  This time I have taken on the "Woman of Noble Character" challenge.

This was posted by Lynda at "My Heart's Desire".

I know we all have different beliefs.  I am a Christian.  And as a Christian, I have decided to try to grow closer in my walk with God this year.  So, I decided, "Why not try this challenge!".   I'm not quite ready to put it in writing yet.  But, I will sometime this week.

This week's challenge was:
Week 1: Proverbs 31:10-12 Are you a virtuous and capable wife more precious than rubies? Does your husband trust you, and do you enrich his life? Do you bring him good everyday? Write a post about something you would like to change about yourself, and something you love about yourself. How does this add to the enrichment of your husband's life?

Everyone have a great Monday!!  How was your weekend?
