Scripture Sunday

If you've been here before for my Scripture Sunday, you know that I usually try to relate it to something going on in my life.  I'm going to be lazy today.  I decided instead to find a passage that I have sticky-noted in my Bible.  You see, my devotional Bible has a devotion for each day of the year.  Each devotion has a main Scripture reading and two additional scripture readings.  Usually, when I read the additional readings, I read more than just the passage and if I come across something that means something to me, I mark it with a small post-it note.

The problem is, I just put the note at the top of the page, so I have no idea which passage I intend to re-read.  So, NOW, I think I'll actually write which verse on the post-it note.  But, I've gone back to the sticky notes and found one that I like for today.  And since I was actually thinking about doing a "trust" post for this Sunday's scripture, it DOES actually fit.

"Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.  As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore."--Psalm 125:1-2 (NIV)

I don't know if this verse was why I had the page marked or not, but it is the passage on this page that spoke to me today.

Everyone have a Blessed Sunday!!
