Thankful Thursday

It is Thankful Thursday again!!!  I seem to be very kid-centric.  I'm not sure that's always a good thing.  But, here's my list for this week!

  1. I'm thankful that Jaycee had a playgroup yesterday with one of her favorite friends from school.  Hopefully we can get together with her family again over the summer.
  2. I'm thankful that Spring Break starts today at noon.
  3. I'm thankful that my husband took the kids with him yesterday so that I could take a little nap--I've been so tired lately!!  (Hey!  This one isn't centered around my kids!)
  4. I'm thankful that we have plans to get together with friends tomorrow to color Easter eggs--we don't get to see each other enough!  Yay!!
  5. I'm thankful that I've had 7 wonderful, fun, crazy, sweet years with my son.  He'll turn 7 on Tuesday.

Also, I found a great site with all kinds of kids' Easter activities, printables, coloring pages, etc.  I believe one of the Palm Sunday printables I listed the other day was from this site.  But, they have sooooo much more and you can sign up for a free email newsletter also. Here's the link to their Easter stuff:

Everyone have a Blessed Maundy Thursday.

"When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table.  And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.  For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.”
After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among you.  For I tell you I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you. "--Luke 22:14-20 (NIV)
