1st time mowing the yard! | Scripture Sunday
Welcome! If you are looking for the "Sit and Relax Weekend Hop", you can join HERE
I went through all kinds of words in my mind trying to find a Bible verse that I liked with this. I went through trust (mine in Logan, Daddy and God--I think he's fine driving, but those whirring blades kind of freak me out!), father, teaching, learning, working. And really, some of them overlapped. Here's the one(s) I picked.
"Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged."--Colossians 3:20-21 (ESV)
I've actually used this one before in my "Kids, Creativity and Patience Scripture Sunday" post. But, I guess it works for a lot of things!
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."--Colossians 3:23-24
This one is one that I personally need to remember. I really should post it everywhere in my house, because some of the housework really does become tiresome, boring and overwhelming. Isn't it funny that something can be boring and overwhelming at the same time?! Anyway, it's a good verse to remember.
I hope that everyone has a wonderfully blessed Sunday!
May The Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
