Free Pioneer Activity Pages Printables and Craft Ideas for Kids

We went to a Pioneer Festival today with the kids.  I thought it would be fun to keep the Pioneer "learning" going with some fun activities and books.  I pulled every book that I could find from our collection that had stuff from the 1800's.  Since we didn't have very many, I also pulled books about cowboys and native americans.  These are the books that we are going to focus on this week (or at least tomorrow, since I plan on having a chill out day tomorrow.)  I also found some cool activities and coloring pages online.  The links for the coloring pages are below.  Look for a post from us doing some "pioneer" type crafts/activities later in the week.  Also, I'll be posting pictures from the Pioneer Fest. Here's a sneak peek:

The website below makes me want to go to the library and get all of the Laura Ingalls Wilder books and sit in the hammock and read!  On this website they have a special kids section.  We'll have to visit this museum, if and when we ever make it to Missouri!
