So Ready for another Cruise!

If you guys have read my "About me" page, you know that my husband and I met on a cruise.  By the time our 10 year anniversary rolls around, that will have been 18 years ago.  And although I've been on two more cruises since the one we met on, we haven't been back on one together.
So, I was thinking that it might be nice to go on a cruise for our 10 year anniversary.  But, my husband really wants to go to New York City since we've never been.  I think I might have found a compromise!  There is a Royal Caribbean cruise that leaves from a port in New Jersey and goes to Bermuda.  So, we could either go a couple days early and hang out in NYC before our cruise or stay a couple days after the cruise.

I checked out all of the dates and it looks like
if we want to do it for less money, we could go in May.  And, we could get an inside cabin.  Before we ever went on that first cruise, people were telling us, "It doesn't matter where your cabin is, you won't spend that much time in there, anyway!".  My sister, friend and I spent more time in the cabin than people thought we would.  But, I don't think it would make a difference where our room is this time, if we can get it for less and still be on a nice cruise line.  It would be nice to have one of those big balcony rooms some day.  But, at this point, I would take what I could get.  And the inside rooms are more affordable.

Now, it's just a question of whether we want to spend the money, since we have the addition going on and really don't need to spend any more money.  And, whether or not we would be able to find babysitters for a week, here in Ohio.  Because the kids would still be in school in May.
I really wanted to have a big ten year anniversary party and renew our vows.  I already bought a little white dress that I was going to wear.  But, alas, we can't do it all.  I'm pretty sure I could wear that little white dress on a cruise!  And say, "The heck with the party---we'll have one at our 20 year anniversary!"

What do you think?  If you've been married 10 years or more, did you have big plans on your 10 year anniversary?  If you're not to 10 years yet, do you plan to do something big for your 10 year anniversary?
