Floofy Flower Valentine Pillow

I started this pillow several weeks ago when I began all of my Valentine Crafts.  Life happened.  It got shoved somewhere and I finally finished it yesterday.

Here's what I used:
2 pieces of 8 1/2 x 11 Red Felt
Pink and White Flowers
Berry Picks, Cut in Half
Sewing machine

I started by punching a Berry Pick through the middle of two flowers next to each other.  Then I twisted the stems together on back.  I did all of my pink flowers first to make the heart shape.  Then I filled in with white flowers around the pink heart.  Once I had all of my flowers attached, I pinned the felt right sides together and sewed around the edges, making sure to leave a 5 inch gap so that I could turn it rightside out and stuff it.

  4. Totally cute. Out of my league though. I am not crafty. I am the anti-craft.

  5. That turned out adorable! I've been really slacking in my Valentine decorating this year, but I have lots of great ideas for next year. :)

  6. Your pillow looks so full of love...perfect for Valentines Day!

  7. This is gorgeous! I so want to make one for each of the amazing women in my family :0) It looks so complicated, though; I'm not sure mine would turn out as beautifully as yours did. ;)

  8. Your pillow looks great. I would love to try and make one. My granddaughters would love this.
