I'm Baaack! And Re-Assessing some things

Some of you have probably noticed that I've been MIA for a couple weeks!  It's good to be back.  We had a wonderful vacation.  Mike and I had a good, relaxing time in the Keys.  The kids had a great time with their cousins and grandparents (Hi MOM!).  In fact, Logan had so much fun he didn't want to leave.

We ended up leaving one day earlier from Florida than we thought we would.  Mike likes to drive straight through, which is a seventeen hour trip if you don't stop.  It's about 19 hours if you do.  And let's face it.  You've got to stop, even if it's to get gas.  Three times.  On our trip back, Logan was sick.  He threw up twice in the van.
So, we had to stop for that, too.  Poor guy.  Then he was still sick the day after we got back, too.

The Saturday that we got back, Mike's company had a formal dinner party to celebrate their 25 year anniversary.  It was a lot of fun.  We stayed overnight in a hotel downtown.  I joked that we passed our kids off to people more in that one week than we do all year long.  The funny part is that we have to go to Florida usually to have someone watch our kids overnight.  There are a couple people up here who can do it every now and then.  But, it doesn't happen often.  We don't want to be a burden.  So, I guess we're done having Mommy/Daddy time for a while.

While we were gone we decided that we were going to go full steam ahead with the addition.  We're just gonna knock it out and rearrange some things financially.  We'll still come out ahead, so it's all good!

I've also decided to take some small steps back from the blogging world.  Don't worry!  I'm not leaving completely.  But, I need to rearrange some of my priorities.  I believe that I'm a little bit of a "Type A" personality.  When I begin something, I grab on, become obsessed and go a little crazy!  In this last week, while I've been taking a little break, my laundry has magically disappeared.  I've been able to go to the store without kids and take my time shopping.  I read a book for an hour. . . for fun!  I sat on the floor and played with Logan for a couple minutes.  I went outside and let Jaycee jump on the trampoline.  My family needs to be put back into the spotlight.

So, I need to come up with a reasonable schedule that allows me to be able to still blog, but spend more time on the things that matter.

I will be making a list of my bloggy friends that I would like to visit on a regular basis.  I will be setting time limits and then banning myself from the computer for the rest of the time.  I'm not ready to quit.  I have worked very hard to attain the page rank and alexa score that I have!  So, no quitting for me.  But, as I said, limits.  There must be limits!

I hope that my "regulars" will stick around with me as I go through the transition.

What you can expect.  .  .  I hope to still have my daily hops.  I do those for you guys.  Please come and join whichever ones you'd like to join during the week.  I will try to make 3 personal posts a week.  If there are any cool giveaways that I find, I will share them with you guys.  If you are new to my blog and leave me some comment love, I will try to return the love within 3 days. . . as long as I'm not on vacation.  And that shouldn't be happening again until the middle of June.

I hope everyone had a great two weeks while I was gone!  When I figure out my WHOLE blogging schedule, I'll let you guys know.

Have a wonderful Thursday!
