Today, I will be a good Mom!

Well, at least the day will start out that way.  In my last post, I talked about that embarrassing health issue that I was going to deal with in my very first post.   Well, in that same first-ever post, my #1 challenge for last year was to spend more quality time with my kids.  I'm not so sure I did a great job with that one. . . . or really any of my challenges from last year.  Once I started blogging, almost everything started to take a backseat.

So, today I will be spending time with Jaycee doing what she wants to do.  I will try my hardest to keep my patience all day long.  Even when Logan gets home and they start arguing as soon as he sets foot in the house.  And even when I find uneaten food hidden in the corner of the bathroom covered in ants.  I will keep my patience and not become a raving lunatic.  At least. . . .  I'll try.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday.  The sun will hopefully be coming out here this afternoon.

But for now, Jaycee wants to play a little online.  So, off we go!

The Quirky Homemaker

Who IS The Quirky Homemaker from HBHL?

I'm that girl who went to college on scholarship, lost that scholarship after the first year, changed majors 5 times, started working full time to pay for college, ended up with a degree in fashion. . . that girl who met a boy on a cruise who she eventually fell in love with and moved 1100 miles away from home and family to be with. . . that girl who believes in Jesus, but married a man who isn't sure what to believe. . .then had kids with him. . .who are a perfect combination of us both. . . Lord, help us all. . . the girl who is still trying to figure life out. . . whose life, like this blog is constantly evolving. . . that girl who cooks for relaxation, is never organized, always had her nose in a book while growing up. . . who is afraid of heights, but married a BASE jumper. . .that girl who grew out her gray hair and is trying to be the fittest of her life in her 40's. . . that girl who would rather do crafts and sew, than fold the laundry or clean the mud off the floor. . . yeah, I'm that girl
