It tasted the same as I remember the Key Lime Pies tasting in the Keys. It was rich and sweet and tangy.
- The recipe calls for 3 cups of Sweetened Condensed Milk. That is two 14 oz. cans.
- We got roughly 1/2 cup of lime juice from our pound of limes. The recipe calls for 3/4 cup of Key Lime Juice. We had to use 1/4 cup of regular lime juice.
- Getting 1 Tbsp. of Lime zest is a chore. But the pie is so worth it!
