Loving the new Polly Pocket Dolls with Suction Cups!

Once upon a time there were little toys called Polly Pockets.  And there were tiny little shoes and accessories that went with Polly Pocket dolls.  And those tiny little accessories would get lost very easily.  And sucked up in the vacuum cleaner.  And the dolls were hard to dress.  Sound familiar?

I'm very excited to tell you that there are new Polly Pocket sets that are so much easier to play with and keep together.  We were sent a playhouse and a kitchen room set to try out.

These Polly Pockets are so much better!  They come with little suction cups on the bottom of all of the items.
So the dolls and accessories will stick to the playset.  And the dolls are bigger and bend at the waist now.  Plus all of the sets can work together.
I was always hesitant to buy any kind of Polly Pocket toy because of all of the reasons above.  I can't tell you how many shoes my vacuum cleaner has eaten.  And I even had problems dressing those teeny little dolls.  I'm not sure how a young girl was supposed to do it.  Now, everything is easier.

As soon as Jaycee found out we were going to be able to review new Polly Pocket sets, she asked me every day, "Are they here yet?"  We left for the weekend last week and when we got back they were here!  She was so excited!!  Here she is telling us a little bit about them.
I also love that the Polly Pockets set is more portable now.  We can stick everything to the playset with the suction cups and pick up one thing to move everything.  If she's playing with it at the dining room table and it's time for dinner, I just pop everything on the playset and move it somewhere else.  Easy-peasy.  I am very pleased with these new Polly Pockets and would even consider buying her sets from now on.  I won't shy away from them in the store anymore!

Do your girls like Polly Pocket?  Make sure you check out the

  3. Don't you wish they had thought of that back in the day? Suction cups are an awesome idea...nice to see someone thought of it. Great post.

  4. I like that you can just pop everything back into it for self-contained storage. I wish all toys did that!

My daughter is too big to play w/Polly Pockets now, but it's good to have the info in mind. The holidays are going to be here before we know it (don't frown at the messenger :) ).

    1. Leigh, hopefully you can avoid Polly Pockets with the boys! Till I had a daughter, toys were easy. Dinosaurs, cars, legos, lincoln logs, etc.... then she came along and it's Polly Pockets, Zoobles, Squinkies and a million other teeny tiny toys with teeny tinier accessories. UGH!
