ENDED-Learning Dinnertime Manners with Papersalt and a GlVEAWAY!!

I’m a sucker for any kind of little books.  When I first started blogging, I wrote a post about being a bookaholic.  I rarely have time to read books, but I own oodles and oodles of them.  And I especially love any kind of books about family.  Or self-help.  Or quotes.  Or anything really.  So, I was extremely excited to try out Papersalt’s books. 

Papersalt calls their books “Simple tools for families”.  Their goal is to deliver “just enough” content.  Their learning points are short and to the point, which I love.  As I said, I very rarely have time to read books.  Papersalt makes it easy.  They have several books on their site to choose from.  These are the books that I chose:

The books are made from sturdy paper and are spiral bound.  The spiral binding makes them easy to flip through and you can leave the book on whichever page you are practicing at the time without the book flopping closed.  The Kitchen Habits book has 17 nights of practice for kitchen, cooking, eating, manners, etc.  You don’t have to do all of the tasks in order, but there is a final night when you have a “Dinner Party” to practice everything that has been learned.  I wanted this book for the “manners” section.  I feel like I eat with a bunch of little animals sometimes.  I figured maybe if the manners rules were in a book, my kids might be more likely to use them.

I LOVE the “We Do” book.  As I said, I love quote-y type things.  This book is filled with things that a family does~~

“We do sorry.”

“We do honesty”

“We do ‘remember when’”

“We do cooperation”

“We do adventures”

There is room in the “We Do” book to put photographs or notes to make it specific to your family. 

And the coupon book hits the nail on the head of what kids want~~time with mommy, time with daddy, game night, breakfast out, etc.
