Life with kids--quotes and stories from this week

Kids are so stinkin' funny! I have a lot going on this week and was getting to the point when I was getting a little crazy.  Well, a lot crazy.  Future Fashionista and I were on our way back from the gym yesterday and I was telling her that I really needed their help (FF and The Builder).  I continued to tell her "I don't know how many more ways I can tell you that I need your help!"

She quickly replied,

"Can you say it in German?"

Little smarty-pants.  She is a funny, clever girl.

Then, last night the kids were running around like little wild children right before bed.  No calming stories here.  My kids wrestle and run and who-knows-what!  They came out into the living room and The Builder was trying to reach a spot on his back.  He asked me to "look".  I looked and asked him, "What is it?" He told me,
"Fashionista tried to glue me to something"

Alrighty then!

Then, when I went to get in bed last night, Mickey mouse was there to greet me.  And he had another little stuffed animal friend with him.  I pulled back the covers and they had hidden a big remote control spider under my sheets!  When I walked around to the other side of the bed this morning to make my bed, I saw this:
Not sure if you can tell. . . . . but that's two spiders and a snake.  Sneaky kids.  Heehee.  They were trying to scare us!

These kids are nuts!  But, I love them.

Tomorrow, my dad and stepmom are flying into town.  My stepmom and mother-in-law will be taking the kids on the Polar Express.  I'm kind of bummed because I wanted to go!  But, we made the plans before we knew they were flying up and we only bought four tickets.  So, I told my stepmom that she could go with my MIL to take the kids.  I'll stay at home with the men!

Then maybe on Saturday we'll be going to the Lowe's Build and Grow again.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!  What funny things have your kids done lately?
