Featured Handmade Crafter | Teresa from Teresa's Country Treasures

Please welcome Teresa from Teresa's Country Treasures.  Here is what she has to say about herself and her business.

I have been a crafter all my life. I have done quilting, scrapbooking, painting, machine embroidery and now I make jewelry. I love to craft and when people buy my items it makes me feel good knowing that a part of my creativity is being enjoyed by others.

My blog is at http://teresascountrytreasures.blogspot.com/

I started crafting very early in life. My first try was when I was around 7-8 doing hand embroidery. My mom still has the piece that I did. My mom would buy me the patterns to make my doll clothes and I would sew them by hand. When I was in high school I taught myself how to crochet.

I started my business in 1988. I started making flowers and pillows and finally ended up making jewelry. I stopped for about 10 years and in 2010 started my business back up selling clipart as a licensed reseller and now making jewelry again.
My favorite craft has to be jewelry making. In the last six months have started bead weaving and chainmaille and love it. I also make free standing lace jewelry and ornaments
