This year's strategy for Hubby-Wife gift-giving

My hubby and I don't usually exchange gifts for Christmas.  Usually, during the year if there's something we need or want, we just buy it.  Plus, now with the remodel/addition I just figured we wouldn't spend any money on ourselves.

But the other day, my hubby busted out with, "Why don't we buy our own small gifts this year and then we can put each other's name on it."  And I replied, "Really?!?!  I just figured we wouldn't be getting gifts this year."  And then he proceeded to tell me that he thinks Flash (Logan's Hermit Crab) already bought him a small gift.  Do you guys see what I have to deal with around my house?  Apparently hermit crabs are buying gifts now.

Truthfully, it's a good enough plan for me, because I wouldn't have a clue what to get him. Last year, I made a photo collage of him and a lot of his BASE jumping adventures.  I know he liked it.  But, he hasn't had as many adventures this year--well except for that trip to China!  I still haven't shown you guys any of his pictures from that BASE trip.

Now, the question is. . . . . what will my hubby be "getting me" for Christmas this year?  I really would like to find a new perfume.  So, I was thinking about that.  Or, I saw a really pretty brooch in a catalog that I received from one of the clothing stores that I love.  I really can't think of anything else right now that I need or want!  A gift certificate for a massage is always nice, although I think that's more than we were talking about spending.

What are you hoping for under your Christmas tree this year?  Do you have any suggestions for "my hubby's gift to me"?
