Advil Congestion Relief--My thoughts and Coupons for You

At this time of year, stuffy noses are pretty common.  I've recently been given the opportunity through Smiley360 to try out Advil Congestion Relief.   So, I did my best to go out and get a stuffy nose for you  guys so that I could try it out!  I've actually been pretty stuffy for most of the year so far, so I've been able to use my samples.  Logan and I woke up with a cold on New Year's day and we're both still struggling with sinus and nasal issues.

So, what were my thoughts on the product?  I'm not sure how much it worked on my stuffiness.  If I had to give a percentage, I would say that it cleared me up about 50%.  Advil Congestion Relief claims to be non-drowsy and that was true for me.  I didn't have any problem with feeling drowsy when  I took it.  And it helped with a minor headache and earache that I had.  So, it's good for any minor pain that you might have and it won't make you tired.  It helped moderately with my congestion.  But, it might help other people more.  I have never had much luck with any kind of decongestants, so it might just be me and my body.  But, I'll take moderate help over complete stuffiness any day.

If you would like to learn more about why congestion happens, the Advil website has an article called Understanding Nasal Congestion.  They also have articles about understanding the common cold and the differences between colds and allergies.

If you'd like to try Advil Congestion Relief for yourself, Smiley360 and Advil Congestion Relief have given me 10 coupons for $1.00 off to give away to my readers.

So, I'll send two coupons each to the first 5 people who comment on this post.  Leave me your email address and I'll contact you to get your mailing info so that you can get your coupons to try it out!

Once you get your coupon, you can go to the Advil website to find a store near you that carries the product.

And if you're not one of the first five commenters to get 2 of the coupons mailed to you, don't worry.
You can find a $2.00 off coupon HERE on their Facebook page--I'm sure it's "while supplies last", so hurry!  Or you can get a coupon for $1 off HERE at the Advil website.

  2. Hmmmm...advil congestion? Who knew! While I have a sensitivity to ibuprofen, so therefore can't use this, it's interesting to me to see companies consolidate their medications. I guess this is different than advil cold and sinus?

    1. Yes, it is different. If you go to their website, you can read about the differences! That's too bad about your sensitivity to ibuprofen. I love it for aches, pains and inflamation. thanks for stopping by!

  4. I'm always a huge fan of nasal spray, and can't go back now that I know there is something out there that obliterates my stuffiness in 5 seconds. Thanks for the review, though!

  5. I always have sinus issues, but like to keep free of the drugs. I use a humidifier at night.

    1. A humidifier is a great idea! I put one in the kids' rooms sometimes, but never think to put it in mine! Thanks for stopping by Courtney!

  6. I'd definitely try Advil when I get sick, but my husband doesn't believe in these kinds of meds, which sort of bugs me. He believes in natural healing, especially for the common colds. Even though he has the stuffiest nose ever, he won't take a thing.
