You might have heard that Omega-3 is good for you. There are different sources that you can get them from. The most recent way that I've tried to get my Omega-3s is in a Krill Oil supplement by Everest Nutrition. The company sent me a bottle to try out.
The supplement is a clear capsule with a brownish oil. What I like about it is that there is no fish-y aftertaste or fishy burps. If you've tried some of the fish oil supplements before, you know what I'm talking about. You take two capsules a day, preferably with breakfast or lunch. The capsules are easy to swallow. My main problem is remembering to take them at the right time! I haven't been taking them long enough to realize any of the benefits that the supplements are supposed to offer. But, I'm looking forward to seeing how they work for me. I would love to see the anti-aging benefits, less achy joints and cardiovascular benefits some people report.
I'm very interested in the Krill Oil, because like most Omega-3 supplements, they are supposed to be able to help with PMS symptoms. If you look at the Everest Nutrition website, it has a lot of interesting info. You can read comparisons of what krill oil can do as opposed to fish oil. Krill oil supposedly provides these benefits:
Cardiovascular
Lowers levels of bad cholesterol
Helps with PMS symptoms
Lessens inflammation
Improves Brain function--
according to Everest Nutrition's website, adults with attention difficulties had a 48.9 % improvement in mental concentration after 90 days.
and helps with Anti-aging--
according to the website, research concluded that patients who took the supplement for three months reported improvements in the texture of their skin, nails and hair. The women also reported an improvement in memory, stamina, mental alertness and concentration.
I really need to be more consistent with all of my supplements, because I am very curious to see if the same things happen for me. I would love to have better concentration and better skin.
I really suggest that you go to their website and read all of the information.

ReplyDeleteIt's good for depression.
ReplyDeleteI learned that the Omega 3s in fish oil are found in triglyceride form whereas in krill oil the Omega 3s are linked in phospholipid form which is the same structure as the fat cells in the human body, so that has to be much better!
ReplyDeleteI learned that this could even help with PMS symptoms! Yeah!!
