Our First Baby Nursery Theme
Continuing on in my "reminiscing" week, I'll be talking about how much fun it was to plan Logan's nursery. We didn't find out the sex of the baby, so we needed a room that would be good for either a girl or a boy. So, I went with a beach theme. There are so many cute Baby nursery themes, but I wanted to do something on my own. I think it turned out pretty cute.
I worked in a paint store when I was pregnant, so I bought paint in an aqua blue color and painted the walls and ceiling with it. Then I painted clouds on the walls and ceiling. I painted a palm tree on one wall and the ocean on another wall. I also created curtains that looked like a big palm tree. I found fabric that was the same color as the walls for the outside of the curtains and then used brown for the trunk and used a couple different greens to make the palm fronds. I think it turned out really cute.
I see so many cute nursery themes that look so pretty, organized and classy. I think Logan's was kind of cheesy. Sometimes I wish I would have had a more classic nursery. But, ours was fun. And I wanted to hold on to every little last bit of Florida that I could!
How was your baby's nursery decorated?
