Worry About Finances? Who Me?

 Today's NaBloPoMo prompt is:

"If you could permanently get rid of one worry, what would it be?"

I'd like to say that I'm a christian and I don't worry about anything because I know God will provide.   I know that. . . . . . . but not everyone I live with knows that.

So, with that in mind. . . . . .I know it sounds cliche, but the one worry I would love to get rid of is worrying about finances.

Being a stay at home parent was a choice that I made.  But, it's hard sometimes when financial surprises happen.  And soon we might need a new vehicle.   And even used vehicles are more than I want to have to pay for any time soon.

We are extremely blessed.  We have everything we need.  We actually might have more than we need.  But, it would be nice to have a little more wiggle room.  Know what I mean?  My hubby works so hard.  We added onto our house because we thought it would pay off in the future since my hubby could do most of the work himself.  But, we're paying for it now.  Everything comes down to choices.

My choice is to stay home while my kids are still with us.  So, we deal with the finances the way they are.  But, it's not always easy.   As moms we always make difficult choices.  And if it was up to me, I could live much smaller.  But, I'm not the only one in my family.  I worry because my hubby worries.  I know that some day every choice that we've made. . . . me staying home. . . . remodeling the house. . . .anything else that might happen.. . . . . . . will pay off.

But for now, it would be nice to be a little less worried about that one thing.
