Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

This pulled pork was made with bottled barbecue sauce and stout beer.

I had a stout left over from our "Epcot World Expo Food and Beer Experience" at our #DisneySide @ Home Celebration.  It's been sitting in the fridge since the party, so I decided to put it to use in this recipe.

For the pulled pork I used around 3 pounds of pork loin roast.

3 lb. Pork Roast
1 bottle of barbecue sauce
1/4 cup beef broth
6 dashes of Worcestershire Sauce
8 oz. of Stout beer
3 sprigs of thyme (I used the leaves only)

Put pork roast(s) in slow cooker.
Cover with barbecue sauce.
Add dashes of Worcestershire Sauce
Pour in Stout beer
Put Thyme leaves on top.
Cook on high for 6 hours or low for 8 - 10 hours.

Shred the pork with 2 forks and let sit in the sauce for about 20 minutes to half hour.  Mine was so easy to shred.

I added avocado slices and roasted red onion to my sandwich.

These are the changed I would make for next time:
Add 1/2 tsp. salt
Add 1 Tbsp. Onion Powder
Maybe add some roasted garlic--yummo.

How do you make your pulled pork?
