Golden Blossom Honey Review

Giveaway has ended and the winner has been notified!  Thank you to everyone who entered.

This review was brought to you by AdvertiseWithBloggers.com and Golden Blossom Honey.

I have recently been using more honey in everything from homemade granola bars to homemade at- home spa treatments.  I love using honey in homemade face scrubs and masks.
(The one below was a honey, brown sugar and grapefruit scrub/mask--it left my face soft and radiant)

When I was recently given the opportunity to review some honey, I jumped at the chance.

I opened and used my honey right away to make a caramel type honey sauce.

I loved the flavor.  The flavor of the blossoms really comes through.

The Genuine Natural Pure Honey is made in the US and the Organic White Forest Honey is made in Brazil.   The Genuine Natural Pure Honey is made from the flowers of Sage Buckwheat, White Clover and Orange Blossom.  As I said above, the flavor of the blossoms really comes through.  I almost thought it tasted kind of fruity, but I'm not a honey connoisseur!  I just know I loved the flavor.

The Golden Blossom Honey website has a lot of great recipes.  As I said earlier, I've been using honey a lot in my homemade spa treatments lately.  There are a lot more recipes that I've never tried at their website.  Two recipes that I'd like to try are:

because I'm looking for more natural beauty treatments without all the chemicals, I'd like to try the

They also have an incredible number of food recipes including 55 Pasta recipes, 76 appetizers, 46 beverage recipes, 52 cookie recipes, 145 salad recipes and 25 other recipe categories with numerous recipes in each category.  There is so much inspiration on the recipe pages at the Golden Blossom Website!!

The Golden Blossom Honey website also has some great tips for substituting honey for sugar in baking on their FAQ page.  If you'd like to start subbing honey for sugar, you should check it out!  I do a lot of experimenting in the kitchen.  . . . . I mean A LOT!  I did not know this little tidbit:

"Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda for each cup of honey used. This will neutralize honey's acidity and help the food rise."

So be sure you check out their cooking tips.
