Just another typical day in our kitchen.  I love our island.  It comes in handy for so many things.
Cooking, entertaining, beer pong, Disney parties.  You name it.  

This week, I was cooking brussels sprouts from a Rachael Ray recipe that I've done before.  We also had potato leek soup.   Since there's not really a whole lot that you can do with the tough, woody part of leeks (from what I understand), they became a Spring bouquet.  Bwahahhahaha.  I didn't want to spend the $9 at the store for the actual flowers.

  4. Love the carrot top. They would not last long at my house. I know of two little bunnies that would find a way on the island just to eat them. :)
