Saturday, we had a great day for soccer. Blue skies and warm. A little too warm sometimes, but I said I wasn't going to complain, so. . . . .
we had to take respite under a tree for about an hour between games.
Yesterday we didn't do much but hang out. Future Fashionista and I did Dance Wii for a while~~so that counted as one of the 3 workouts I wanted to get in last week. Thankfully, I met that goal! Then, we watched Jaws and Jaws 2 again.
NOW, onto the budget and meal plan.
Since I bought some stuff for our get-together on Friday night, my food budget has now gone down to $55 for the week. I'll be doing my shopping today and hope to make it on budget. We might have to get a little creative sometimes though.
Monday: Chicken Fried Rice, Stir-fried veggies (cabbage, zucchini, baby broccoli and sugar snap peas), plus maybe fried potatoes (because I need to use them!)
Tuesday: Asparagus, Baked Potato Wedges & Turkey Sausage
Wednesday: Pasta Salad
Thursday: Beef and Black Bean Wraps
Friday: Fish sticks & roasted fingerling potatoes
Saturday: Every man for himself
Sunday: Breakfast for Dinner, Egg Casserole w/spicy ground turkey
I truthfully would like to do some more vegetarian things because we waste a lot of meat. It seems like life always gets in the way of my plans and things get forgotten. I'm either going to have to just put things directly into the freezer or always, always stick to my plan. . . . and I don't really think the latter is going to happen.
Goals for the week:
Muffins with Mom!
Help friend with house photo shoot.
Finish the darn crafts I started over a week ago.
Garage sale shopping.
List a couple more things on ebay.
Sometime soon goals (maybe not this week)
Clean Master bedroom closet~~again!
Clean craft room~~again!
I don't know how those two rooms get so cluttered, so fast!
