Hot Apple-licious Licorice Toddy

I was in the mood for a little drink the other day, but I didn't want to just take a shot.  So, I decided that whipped cream vodka would taste good with hot licorice tea.  And boy did it!

I love the fact that licorice tea is naturally sweet.  I don't have to add any extra sweeteners to this drink.  The whipped cream vodka and licorice tea make it sweet enough.

As most hot toddy drinks that I've seen have some kind of fruit garnish, I decided that apple would be good with the spiciness of the licorice tea.

This recipe has very few steps.  It is so easy!

Boil 6 - 8 ounces of water for your tea.
Steep two licorice tea bags in the hot water.
Add 1 ounce of vanilla vodka and garnish with an apple slice.

I also made a hot toddy using one bag of apple cinnamon chamomile and one bag of licorice tea.
My friend said it tasted like coziness in a cup.

I think I'm going to try the whipped cream vodka in hot cocoa next!
Do you drink hot cocktails?  What is your favorite?
