Organic Haul from Last Week and Meal Plan

As you might be able to tell. .  .  . .  . I'm running a little behind this week.  But look who came out to play for a little bit!

Yep. That's my right hand.  Breaking out of it's confines.  It's weird and awkward and not at all strong.  I'll still be wearing the brace until my next appointment, which is on December 10.  But in addition to the physical therapy type exercises he wanted me to do, I'm trying to use it in practical ways a few minutes a day.  Yesterday, I picked up a bottle and tried to drink from it.  It is really weird trying to learn how to use this hand again.

So, anyway. . . . . on to our organic haul from last week and our "meal plan" this week.  Just FYI, we will be getting this week's organic stuff today and tomorrow. Yeah.  That's how far behind I am.

We spent around $38 last week from Blue Sky Green Fields and skipped the Door to Door order.

Bag of Celery, 2 turnips, 1 pound of baby bok choy, 2 bunches of green onions, 4 green peppers, 1 green cabbage, 1 pound of mushrooms, 4 cucumbers, 3 pounds of russett potatoes, 1 pound of sweet potatoes and 1 butternut squash.
The bottom picture was the local produce I received.  Some of it was organic.
1 pie pumpkin, 1 cauliflower, 1 seedless cucumber, 3 pounds gala apples, 1 red leaf lettuce, 1 green leaf lettuce, 1 romaine lettuce, 2 green peppers.

I think it was a pretty good haul for $38.  I did not do as well this week.  But I feel good supporting local businesses.  As soon as I have all of my stuff from this week, I'll put the new post up.

Here's what has been on our menu plan this week:
Sunday:  Beef Stew
Monday:  Sandwiches and Salad
Tuesday:  Chicken and Mushroom Fried Black Rice with Lentils
Wednesday: Breakfast for dinner~~ Ham and cheese eggs and homemade hashbrowns
Thursday:  Spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, salad
Friday:  Ordering pizza with friends
Saturday:  Undecided

I managed to get half the stuff on my to-do list done yesterday.  I'll have to finish up the rest today.  My hubby also wanted me to play around with our new Amazon Fire Stick.  We still have no idea how to use it.  It's one of the ways we're trying to see if we can ditch cable.  The prices have just gotten too high!

I hope you all are having a good week so far!  What has been going on in your neck of the woods?!?

Speaking of woods, did you see the tick I pulled off my daughter Monday morning?
