Balanced & Healthy Living Friday Fitness Update 2016 Week 6

My Friday Fitness Updates used to tell the workouts that I did the previous week from Saturday to Friday. 

Here's what my last week looked like and the DVDs that I used:

Friday: Was listed in last week's update, but I think I changed my mind and did something different. (Ended up doing Jillian Michaels: Shred-It With Weights ) 27 minutes

Saturday: Off


Sunday: Walk 3 miles (about 55 minutes) I was training with my daughter for a possible 10K that we'll be doing in April.  We had it on our list to walk a 5K together this year.  There's a women's only walk in April that's a 10K, so we're gonna do that instead.  My daughter had to stop several times when we did the 3 miles and she was sore the next day.  She recovered really quickly though!  I told her that when she could walk 3 miles without stopping, we'd move up to 4 miles.  The weather is not cooperating much right now though to be able to walk outside.

Monday: Body Bands DVD Upper Body & Abs Using the Exercise Resistance Loop Bands and Exercise Loop Bands DVD Workout 34 minutes-- This was a new DVD I got through Amazon last week.  I didn't know if it was going to be very challenging since it was rated "beginner - intermediate", but it definitely challenged me!  I had to actually take a break on some moves.

Tuesday:  Off

Wednesday:  Kathy Smith Pilates DVD  Abs section 20 minutes

Thursday:  Shred it with Weights -- Jillian Michaels  27 minutes

Last Friday's workout was already included in my minutes for February, so I won't include it again.
So, in the second week of February I worked out a total of  136 minutes.  That brings my February total to 247 minutes with the adjustment for the "switched" workout last Friday.  I have set a goal of 700 minutes for February.  I have 453 minutes to go!  That's an average of 25 minutes a day for the rest of the month.

  2. Awesome! I have a collection of Jillian DVD's but not the shred one. I think it's next on the 'online buy' list for this girl!
