DIY Homemade Banana Smoothie Face Mask

This Winter has definitely been hard on my skin.

Today I came up with my own yogurt face mask to help my skin.  You probably have all the ingredients (or something similar) on hand.

For this face mask I used:

1 tsp. plain yogurt
1 tsp. honey
1 inch of a ripe banana, mashed

I'm warning you, you might just want to eat it.  It might be okay except that the sweet almond oil I use does not say for food consumption!  I think it might only be for beauty purposes.  If you don't have sweet almond oil you could substitute olive oil.

Obviously, if you have an allergy to any of these items, this homemade face mask would not be a good fit for you.

All you have to do is
mix all the ingredients together until they're creamy and slather it on your face!  Relax for 10 - 15 minutes (or longer).  Mine dried out a little bit.  Just rinse with water until it's all removed.

The skin on my face feels so much better now.  With the heater still running with the (still) cold weather, I'm sure I'll want to do another one in a couple days.

If you decide to try this, I would do it before a shower.  I got banana in my hair!!!

Have you ever tried a banana mask before?  Do you ever try any kind of homemade face masks?  What kind?
