Still in the Act of ReBalancing My Life! Photos & Life from the Past Week

Hi Y'all!  I just wanted to let you know that I'm still in the act of rebalancing my life!  I know that in my last fitness update I did two weeks ago, I told you guys that I needed to focus more on my family and getting back into God's word every day.  So many times when I feel like I've fallen too far away from God, my life just isn't what it's supposed to be.  Up until that point I was doing so well with my fitness, but I needed to immerse myself in the Bible to get back on track with that!  So, the fitness fell off a little bit.  Now that I feel adequately immersed, I can create a half hour Bible time each day and let everything else fall back into place.

Also, at the beginning of the year I was going to make a commitment to reinvigorate this blog.  But, that truthfully takes a lot of time.  A LOT. of. time.  If I still want to be a good wife and mother and have time for God and fitness, something had to give.  I'm still going to be working on my blog and I hope to catch back up and establish some kind of routine.  I'll need a routine so that I have regular blogging time in addition to my Bible time, trying to keep the house clean and my family clothed and fed AND keep up with my fitness goals.  And my friends.  Let's not forget about them!

Also in the past week, I went for an interview for some contract work, building. . . . . . . . get this. . . . . little doggy fences.  If it's something that I'm able to keep doing, the hours are perfect.  I can fit it right into the time between the time my last kid gets on the bus in the morning and the time my first kid gets off the bus in the afternoon, 2 days a week.  So, it's only 10 hours a week.   It's actually somewhat hard work for me.  I have to use an electric screw driver and the first day, I slipped so many times and gave myself blood blisters on the hand that holds the pickets and rails.  Ouch!  I also cut my finger on my right hand when I was placing pickets into the template. And boy was my arm and shoulder sore the next day!

It's easy in the fact that I'm just screwing screws all day.  But, I don't think I'm that great at it.  Yet!

I hope that I become okay at it and I am able to keep working two days a week.  We'll use that money for extra things like upcoming trips.  It takes just a little bit of pressure off my hubby.  A teeny bit.  Just a teeny, tiny little bit.  But, every little bit helps.

So, I will have to work on some kind of schedule to fit everything in.

After going 11 days without working out, I finally got a couple workouts in this week!
I've done one of my belly dancing DVDs this week. . . . . . . I needed something feminine after using those power tools!  Haha.

I also managed to fit my 20 minute yoga DVD in one night this week while I was cooking fish fillets for the kids.

And my hubby and I went for a 3 mile walk today.

I'm happy I got at least 3 small workouts in this week, especially with all the beer drinking going on this week with St. Patrick's Day!

It has been so beautiful here the past couple days.  The sky and clouds have been gorgeous!

And some Spring flowers are beginning to come up!

Unfortunately, it's projected to snow on the actual first day of Spring.

Just so you know, I will be having another Giveaway starting again soon!  We were able to try out a metal photo print from AdoramaPix and I absolutely adore it!!!  They are going to let us giveaway a metal print the same size we received. . . ..   16 x 20.  Woo Hoo! I'll get a better picture when we post the actual giveaway!

I'm also going to try to start filling in that giveaway linky above with any good giveaways that I find for you guys!

I hope everything is going well with you guys!  Leave me a comment below about what's been going on in your life!
