Time for another Thankful Thursday.
This week I'm thankful that today is the last day of school. Now, it's time to enjoy my kids and the warm weather. We bought water park passes again and have, in fact, already used them.
We plan on using our new-to-us pop-up camper to go camping.
Sounds like my hubby wants to go horseback riding. He's never been. I've been before, but the last time was probably 30 years ago! I just remember how sore my inner thighs were the next day from holding on to the horse. We might be planning to go camping this weekend, but the weather forecast is not looking so hot as of right now. We know how that can change though!
I'm thankful that my son's eye injury wasn't serious. Actually, he didn't even have a scratch! We were pulling weeds last week and he was taking a wheelbarrow full of stuff to the backyard and went to duck under something and scratched his eye on something. He wouldn't let me look and couldn't open his eye, so we ended up in the Urgicare.
I'm thankful that I got to have a Lemongrass Spa party with my friends last Friday night.
I love the products and I'm excited to be an Independent Consultant. My absolute favorite product is the Organic Mascara. I wasn't sure what to expect from an organic mascara, but I've been very impressed with it! It's hard to get a photo of eyelashes. Here's the best my friends and I could do.
I'm thankful that my friends and I were able to have a last "Mom's Lunch" last week. It was fun.
I'm thankful that my friends were able to go to the water park with us last week. My son very rarely has friends who go with him to the water park, and we got to go with his friends last week (instead of my daughter's.) I'm also thankful that my son rode "Liquid Lightning" and will hopefully be over that fear now!
We'll probably be going to the water park with my friend and her daughter (who is of course my daughter's friend) next week.
I'm thankful that both of my kids were able to try out for Travel soccer last week. It's very competitive at my son's age level. We'll see how it goes. If we end up having to play rec again, we'll play rec again!
I'm pretty sure both of my kids made straight A's this time. We'll find out this afternoon. But, if progress book is still accurate, they will both have straight A's.
What are you thankful for this week?
