Treat yourself

Remember that you matter, and that you have needs too.
Although you have a lot of different titles and responsibilities, you owe it to yourself to take care of you first. Pat yourself on the back for all the hard work you’ve done to raise them. You’ll see all the reasons why you’ve worked so hard over the years and all of the happy memories you’ve had being a mother. These memories will put a smile on your face, and you’ll recall with ease all the reasons why you love being a mom.

Start a Mom’s Group

It’s possible you’ve been isolating yourself and only talking to your kids and husband. While it’s good to be involved with your family, you need support from moms and friends just like you. After talking with a mom’s support group, you’ll soon realize that you’re not alone, and a lot of other women feel the way you do. Meet on a regular basis over a cup of coffee and share feelings and thoughts on different areas of motherhood.

A lot of the time spent with your kids has to do with attending to their school responsibilities and activities. What you need is a day away with your kids to spend quality time with them and reconnect.
