Thankful Thursday | And prayers please

Hello!!  Today is the day when I "write" my thank yous.  Of course, I give thanks every day for all of the things in my life.  But, when you have to actually sit down and write them out, it's just different.  So, here are my 5 things for this week.
  1.  I'm thankful that we took Future Fashionista into the ER when she was complaining of chest pain.  Her EKG and Xray were clear.  So, that's good.  But, she's still complaining of chest pain.  So, if you guys could say a little prayer for her.  It's really hard to tell what's wrong with a 4 year old when it comes to this stuff, because they just don't verbalize very well.  But, thank you God for a clear Xray.
  2. I'm thankful that hubby will be back tonight.  I'm sure you can tell by the last few posts that I'm getting a little burned out.  So, I'm thankful that my hubby will be back!  And, I'm ready to smooch on him and get a great big hug!
  3. I'm thankful that we're going to Virginia in 2 days to see my parents and my niece and nephew.  And I'm thankful that my husband will actually be able to go on this trip with us!  Yay!
  4. I'm thankful for that cool "rainbow" cloud yesterday.  It was beautiful.
  5. I'm thankful that I'm forgiven, even when I have bad days.
"Real life isn't always going to be perfect or go our way, but the recurring acknowledgement of what is working in our lives can help us not only to survive, but surmount our difficulties."--Sarah Ban Breathnach
This quote was taken from a booklet that our church handed out last Fall, so that we could record 5 things every day for which to be thankful.  At the end of the time (20 days), we would have had 100 things for which to be thankful.  I did not fill out the whole book.  But, I kept it for the wonderful quotes and scripture that they put into the booklet.  So, I guess I can add a #6 onto my list today.  I'm thankful for all of the hard work, heart and soul that everyone at my church puts in so that we can all have a wonderful worship experience.
"Praise the Lord.  Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever."--Psalm 106:1
