Crock-pot cooking Night 4 | Mushroom Turkey Breast

Last night, we had night four of our crock-pot cooking week.  Truthfully, I think I'm gonna keep rolling with the crock-pot cooking.  I've done a lot in the past, but never seven days in a row!  And it's been kind of fun!  I love looking at the sale ads and seeing what's on sale and then cross-referencing my cookbooks.  And I can do a vegetarian meal twice a week.  It's great!  I'm hoping it will help me reign in my grocery budget.

Night four was Mushroom Turkey Breast on page 152 of The Everything Healthy Slow Cooker Cookbook by Rachel Rappaport.

The recipe called for sauteeing the mushroom and onion before putting it in the crock-pot, but I don't usually like extra steps, so I just threw it all in the crock-pot as is.  We ended up eating it with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans.
