"God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say "thank you"?"--William A. Ward
Thursday is the day that I actually sit down, think about things for which I'm grateful and write them down. I get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. And I'm thankful for everything, every day. But, this way, I can slow down and actually put those things into words.
- Friends who help me know that it's okay to say "No".
- A husband who is patient with me.
- Jaycee's messes. All of them. It means that she's an active, creative, curious little girl.
- The fact that Logan still tells us what is going on with him at school.
- Lots of "virtual" friends who are patient with me while I have "growing pains".
- All of the basics--I don't usually say this stuff, because I figure it's a given, but I'll say it this time--A warm house, clothes to wear, food to eat, good health.
"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."--1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)
