The kids were asking me for Pizza last week. While we were at the store we decided to make Pizza Rolls with Crescent Rolls. Last week, I tried to roll them up like piggies in blankets. I think I came up with a better version this week, making self-contained little "pockets"
You will need 1 can of 8 crescent rolls.
24 slices of pepperoni.
Shredded Mozzarella cheese (about 1 Tablespoon for each roll)
Spaghetti sauce for dipping.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Separate Crescent dough into triangles.
Flatten the triangles with a roller to make more work surface.
Put 3 slices of pepperoni onto each triangle and top with the cheese.
Fold the 2 short corners of the triangles in to start forming a pocket.
Fold the long triangle in and wrap it under.
Pinch all of the edges together so that nothing escapes while it's cooking.
Cook for 12 - 15 minutes. They will be golden.
