Thankful Thursday

When I started my blog, I always did a Thankful Thursday post.  It's good to stop and remember the things you're thankful for.  It's proven that people who are thankful are happier.  We need to focus on what is good in our life; not what we don't have.  Because when it's all said and done, we probably have everything we need.

Here are five things that I'm thankful for this week.
  1. I'm Thankful that Spring Break starts today at 4:00!  Woo Hoo!  I hope that I'm able to relax and enjoy my kids.
  2. I'm thankful that my kids got up this morning without a fight.  On time.
  3. I'm thankful that I have a wonderful group of friends.
  4. I'm thankful that I don't have to take ibuprofen this morning!  I think the pinched nerve is finally not as painful as it had been.
  5. I'm thankful that I should have time to paint the final blue wall today. 
Also, I'm thankful that the price of our cruise went down. . . that we finally did 2/3 of our taxes. . . that my kids are healthy and creative. . . . that I have coffee. . . .that I'm going to be able to paint a canvas for our living room soon (fun!). . . that it should be warming up a bit soon (40's and 50's). . . and that no matter what goes on in my life--I am forgiven.
"Be true to yourself, help others, make each day your masterpiece, make friendship a fine art, drink deeply from good books - especially the Bible, build a shelter against a rainy day, give thanks for your blessings and pray for guidance every day."
