When Life Gives You Lemons. . . .

You can't store them in THIS fridge. . . . .

Not that you would store lemons in the fridge.  Citrus does not belong in the fridge.

. . . . . . . . so instead, I'll take the chance to clean the fridge thoroughly.

Two weeks ago our fridge stopped cooling.  We have a freezer on bottom French door Fridge.  The freezer works fine, but the top part just wasn't cooling.  Two weeks ago we borrowed an extra fridge that a friend had and defrosted our fridge and it was good again.  For a week and a half.  And now we're back to having all of our food in that extra fridge.  On the back porch.  It's inconvenient right now, but I'm thankful that our friend had an extra fridge so that we didn't lose any of our food.

Today I decided that while the fridge is wide open, empty and unplugged I might as well clean it as well as I can.

So, with peroxide spray bottle in hand, I am cleaning my little heart out.

Here's to making lemonade out of lemons.  Or clean fridges out of broken ones.

Hopefully the refrigerator repair man will be able to order the correct part and we'll be back to business as usual.

Have you ever had to call a refrigerator repairman?  As many fridges as I've had in my life this is honestly my very first time.
