I was recently given the opportunity to review a product called a
Scrigit Scraper (funny name, I know. We'll get to that in a second!)
But first, thank you to our sponsors.

Now, back to that funny name. . . .
Scrigit Scrapers. What does it mean? Well, it's a combination of the words
Scrape + Digit (for finger. . . .get it?)
Scrigit
The owner had a mother whose fingernails were always tough and strong and she constantly used her fingernails to get the tough stuff off of, well~~everything! She used her nails to remove stickers, gunk on the dishes, stuff off the floor. I think you get the picture.
How often do you find yourself doing the same thing? I know I do it all the time.
My nails used to be extremely hard and durable. In the last couple years they seem to be breaking more often. I don't know if it's some hormonal thing or what. I'm not even kidding when I say that I broke at least 4 nails two weeks ago. Who even knows what I was doing?!? I'm sure I was trying to get something open or get something off of something else, so I was excited to try out the Scrigit Scraper tools.
Who knew that when we got our package my hubby would even find a use for them? It was a very good use, too. My hubby had just put up our backsplash on Monday this week. On Tuesday, he was using something to try to get the dried thinset out from between the tiles and a lightbulb went off in my head.
USE THE SCRIGIT SCRAPER!!!
I gave my hubby a Scrigit Scraper to try and he said,
"That's brilliant."
My hubby is into getting patents on his own designs and so he's intrigued with products from other people that are simple and do their job. Of course he had one of those moments. . .
"It's a fingernail. On a stick. So simple and so perfect."
I think he's a fan. I also think that it's great that it has a little clip like a pen, so you can put it in your pocket and you won't lose it or hang it from your belt loop or your shirt.
The Scrigit has a rounded end or a flat end to use depending on what kind of job you need it for.
I used the flat side to get some leftover paint and painter's tape off this window.
And I used it to get the gross gunk off my drain stopper in my bathroom.
There were two stickers on the shower/tub that my hubby just put into the kids' bathroom that I thought were going to stay there forever. Truthfully, I was just too scared to even try to remove them. I went in with my Scrigit Scraper and it's going to make the sticker-removal process a lot less overwhelming.
Hey! When you're done with all of the jobs that Scrigit Scraper can help you with, you can open your refreshments with it. How many times have you broken a nail trying to do this?
