Thankful and Thrifty Thursday

It's Thankful Thursday again.  And I'm actually going to do my post on time this week!

It's always good to give thanks for the things you have in life.  It makes your life so much better.

So, let's just get right to it!

This week I'm thankful for:

  • Moms Meet ( for the opportunity to review a huge box of goodies from nogii.  I was expecting a couple protein bars, but we got a box full of goodies.  We can't wait to try them out and let you guys know about them! (We received them for free to review. .. all opinions are our own and you can look for ALL of the details soon!)
  • I'm thankful that my stuff I had on ebay sold last week!  My parents want to go on an Alaskan cruise with their whole family when they turn 60 and 70 in 2017 and every penny I make is going toward our cruise fund.
  • I'm thankful that I found some more stuff to sell yesterday.  I hope the items work out and I'm able to make some more money for the cruise. . . . . if not, at least I tried.
  • I'm thankful that there is only a little over two weeks of school left!
  • I'm thankful that my kids had a good soccer season and we had a good time at "crazy soccer weekend" last weekend.
  • I'm thankful that we have a 3 day weekend coming up.
  • I'm thankful for all military personnel (and their families) who sacrifice so much so that I may live in this country.
  • I'm thankful for neighbors who share their flowers.
  • I'm thankful my son had fun at his fourth grade social yesterday.  It looked like he danced the whole time!

I probably won't get a chance to do much (or any) garage sale shopping today.  So, I don't have many "thrifty" finds today.  I did get a couple things at the thrift store yesterday.  I found:

A bathing suit for Future Fashionista for $4 and then 3 other bathing suit separates (2 tops and 1 bottom) for around $5 total.  I also found one bathing suit for The Builder for $2.
I got a couple things for myself also.
I got a little summery floral tank for $2.50.

I got a 100% Silk Adrienne Vittadini striped sweater for $2.

I also got a basic beige tank to wear under a couple of the sweaters from the last two weeks for $1 and a basic gray v-neck tee for $1.50.

What are you thankful for this week?  Have you found any good, thrifty finds lately?

Take a minute and follow on Facebook ??? Pretty, pretty please? With a cherry on top? Make sure you never miss a Mish-Mash post.  Follow by RSS or Email HERE.
