Friday Fitness Update 2016 Week 4

 We've made it almost all the way through January y'all!  How is everyone doing on their fitness goals?  Well, I can tell you that I still can't do a split and I still can't do 20 real pushups.  I still have 11 months to complete my goal, though.  My friend and I did decide on a half marathon.  We settled on a local half marathon in November.  It was the first one we did when we were "practicing" for our Country Music Half Marathon that we did last April.  The one here is small and doesn't have the fanfare and fun, but it's cheap,  close and they time you.  And I'll get another medal.  It's all about the bling, y'all.  Ha!

I didn't do as much in the past week as I wanted to, but I did manage to workout every other day.  For some reason it was a weird week, although I can't remember why now! My updates usually run from Saturday to Friday.  Here's a look at what was going on in my fitness world last week.  Also. . . . an update from last week's update~~ I ended up doing the Jillian Michael's Kettlebell workout instead of my 20 minute Sara Ivanhoe yoga DVD.

These are the DVDs that I've used this week

Saturday: Off
Sunday: Sara Ivanhoe's 20 Min Yoga Makeover - Power Beauty Sweat DVD
Monday:  50 wall pushups (That was the day that my friends and I had our impromptu Girls' Night Out)
Tuesday: 33 minutes of the Kathy Smith's Kettlebell Solution ~~ Did the Upper Body Solution, Buns & Thighs Solution and the Core Solution
Wednesday: 30 Minutes of the the firm fat burning sculpting ball work out
Thursday: off
Friday: 30 minutes of Wii Just Dance 2015 and I broke down and did the 5 minute Muffin-Top Destroyer YouTube ab workout that I'm supposed to be doing on February 25th in my Get Fit, Get Healthy February Challenge.  

I worked out for a total of 123 minutes, which brings my January total to 646 minutes.  With only 2 days left in January, I'm not going to make my minute goal of 840 minutes.  That would mean I'd have to do 194 minutes between today and tomorrow.  That's over an hour and a half each day.  That's okay!  I'm happy with what I've accomplished this month.  I feel stronger!!!
