Salt N Sea Day Essential Hydrating Day Cream Review

I am an ocean lover.  I love the smell of the salty breeze and the sound of the waves crashing.  Everything about the ocean just soothes me.  Recently, you might have noticed that there are a lot of products that contain minerals from the Dead Sea.  It's like having a little bit of that soothing ocean in a bottle, or jar, or tube.  My stepmom actually brought me back some lotions that contained Dead Sea minerals from her trip to Israel last year.  So, I was somewhat familiar with products that contain Dead Sea Minerals.

I've recently been given the opportunity to try out a Hydrating Day Cream that contain Dead Sea Minerals.  **I received the Day Cream at a huge discount in exchange for my honest opinion.  All opinions are 100% mine.**

I loved this cream as soon as I opened it because it has a nice, light powdery scent.  It's not overwhelming at all.  It is a thick cream~~when you hold the jar upside down, it doesn't move.  Even though it's thick, it goes on smooth and my skin drinks it in.  The cream is satiny smooth and provides the perfect base to go under my makeup.

The day cream doesn't contain any parabens or formaldehyde, which is good.

Here are some of the ingredients that are in this hydrating day cream:

  • Dead Sea Salt
  • Rose Hips Fruit Oil
  • Jojoba Seed Oil
  • Vitamins C & E
It is manufactured by Salt-N-Sea in Israel.  The Dead Sea Minerals are supposed to rejuvenate and maintain skin's suppleness and impart a radiant look to fatigued skin.  The Rose Hip oil is an antioxidant and the C & E add flexibility and help slow the skin's aging process.

I have only been using it a couple weeks, so I'm not able to see any of the benefits that would come from long-term use yet.  BUT, my main concerns in a day cream are that it goes on easily and quickly and provides a good base for makeup.  This day cream definitely fits that bill.  It leaves my skin moisturized all day long and it doesn't cause me any irritation or breakouts.  I love it so far!

A little bit goes a long way and it's supposed to be for a year once you open it.
