Hippie Chic #fashion Set

I have always been a huge fan of denim~~ even doing a presentation in my SocioPsychological Aspects of Clothing class on the subject of denim.  Yes, that was the name of the class.  Sociopsychological Aspects of Clothing.  truthfully, I just like saying it.  Sociopsychological Aspects of Clothing.  That was many, many moons ago.  And it was at that time that I fell in love with neutrals, swingy tops and bell bottoms (again!)  Bell bottoms were still around the first time when I was a kid and I swore I'd never wear bell bottoms again. . . . until I did in the 90s.  I might just have to have a round 3 soon.  It's true in fashion that everything has to go to one extreme before it starts to shift back in the other direction.  That's why there were bell bottoms in the 70s and then in the 80s and 90 jeans started to get skinnier and higher waisted, until they were high-waisted and wide-legged or bell bottomed.   Then in the 90s the waistlines started going down.  Then, this millenium, skinny jeans were back, but they were low-waisted.  Now that trend has hit it's max and the wide-legs and bell bottoms are making their reappearance again.  A couple years ago, everything 80s was cool.  Now, there is a resurgence of all kinds of things from the 90s.  I'm pretty sure I even had a ruffled denim shirt back then.  😜

I love every item in this set, although a lot of the things, as usual, are out of my price range.  This is when thrifting at the thrift store becomes so much fun.  I have found some things at amazon for your viewing pleasure, though.  Which is your favorite?
